comfortable bed blackout curtains lighting control building site banging noise closed brasserie
my room was a classic king room. the bed was comfortable. the blackout curtains worked great, also the lighting control was good (i could adjust the brightness easily).
i had a room overlooking a building site (it was hard to miss). the brasserie was not open between monday and wednesday, that was inconvenient.

Acceptable but Room for Improvement

yellow stains unclean feeling
The location suited my needs well enough.
The room smelled stale. I noticed it was coming from the bed. Yellow saliva stains covered the pillows inside the pillowcases. The mattress topper also had yellow stains, the bed mattress was even worse. A cleaner mattress topper and protector was supplied, but it still felt unclean.

The staff greeted me warmly and provided really good service throughout my stay. The room decor had beautiful details and an excellent bathtub. (I especially liked the cozy atmosphere!)
